I have been a tenant of Stockport Homes ever since I was diagnosed with cancer.
My background before I became sick, was a DWP work coach. I worked in many departments and learned only too well, the difficulties the public have expressing their concerns and generally trying to get their views and points across to outside agencies.
When I heard about the opportunity to represent the tenants of Stockport Homes in the ASPIRE Panel, I knew it was something that I wanted to do. I am hoping that I and the other panel members, can help other residents and together make Stockport Homes an even better landlord.
