We don’t want to disturb you without good reason and we want to deliver repairs and inspections at your home in ways and at times convenient to you. So, we aim to let you know at least 24 hours before someone from Stockport Homes Group calls to carry out a repair, or gas service or a survey inspection and wherever possible we will organise this around your preference. Where it’s an emergency it will not always be possible to give 24 hours notice.

We ask that you make sure that you let us in to carry out gas and electrical checks, repairs and any improvements needed to make your home fit to live in. If you are not able to keep an appointment we’ve made, we would ask that you let us know and arrange a new appointment. It costs a lot of money and slows down repairs for other customers if we turn up as arranged to find no one at home.
