The journey so far

Using the feedback, a number of engagement activities were put in place, including the formation of the Building Safety Resident Panel. Following a recruitment drive in early 2022, we formed a working group of interested residents who achieved the following:

• Influenced the purpose and priorities of the panel
• Decided how the panel would work
• Designed a further recruitment campaign
• Shaped the panel application process
• Agreed training requirements for members

During summer 2022 the successful panel members undertook some training sessions to support them in their role. Information about this training can be found below.

Following the applications and training the panel was officially launched at an Inaugural General Meeting on 29th September 2022.
