Registering or logging into MySHG
If you are having any issues registering or logging into MySHG, please complete the MySHG enquiry form at the bottom of the page.
MySHG is our customer portal that will allow you to manage your home online anytime, anywhere and on any device.
Once registered, you will be able to:
- View and download statements
- Make payments
- View your agreements
- Make complaints, report ASB and request money advice
- View requests and communications
- Access an easy link to report a repair
More features will be added to MySHG over time!
To make it easier to access the portal once you have registered, you will be able to download a quick link onto the home screen of your device as you would with an app. You can find more information on how to do this in the ‘how to’ guides below.

MySHG FAQs
On the ‘Sign into your account’ screen, click on ‘Don’t have an account?’ and then select ‘Yes, I am currently a tenant of your organisation’. You will then need to enter your date of birth, surname, agreement reference number and activation code.
Your agreement reference can be found on any correspondence we send to you. Or you can contact us by phone, online or by visiting us at Cornerstone and we can provide this for you.
Please make sure you enter both the letters and numbers of your agreement reference when registering.
We are sending this information out in groups from 28th June via email or post (depending on what contact details we have for you). If you can’t find this information, please contact us by phone, online or visiting us at Cornerstone and we can provide this for you.
On the ‘sign into your account’ screen, select ‘forgotten your password’. Note: You will need your email address to reset your password.
If your login is unsuccessful, please refresh your page or close your browser before retrying. If you are still having issues, please email [email protected]
You can change your password for MySHG at anytime when logged in, by going to the menu on the left-hand side and selecting ‘My profile’ then ‘change password’.
Yes, you can change your secret question when logged in to MySHG by going to ‘My profile’ and then ‘edit secret question’.
Yes, when logged in to MySHG go to ‘My Profile’ and then ‘Update account email’. This will send a verification code to your old email to confirm.
Please note: this will not update your email address in our housing management system, so you will need to contact us to update it there as well.
Yes, by clicking on ‘My Payments’, this will show you all transactions including your balance as of today’s date.
Yes, by clicking on ‘Make Payment’ which will take you to the Stockport Homes website, then click on ‘Pay your rent’.
Yes, by clicking on ‘Download a statement’. Once downloaded this will appear in ‘My documents’.
Yes, by clicking on ‘My agreements’.
Yes, by completing the ‘ASB form’ under ‘Contact us’ on the left-hand menu bar.
Yes, by completing a ‘Feedback form’ under ‘Contact us’ on the left-hand menu bar.
Yes, by completing a ‘Money advice form’ under ‘Contact us’ on the left-hand menu bar.
You can access a quick link to report a non-emergency repair by selecting ‘Report a repair’ on the left-hand menu bar. This will take you to a form on the Stockport Homes website for you to complete. If you have any emergency repair, please call us on 0161 217 6016.
You can access a quick link to applying for housing by selecting ‘Apply for housing’ on the left-hand menu bar. This will take to you to the Stockport Homes website, where you can then apply for housing or search for properties.
Yes, by changing the language in the google translate in the left-hand menu bar.
