Customer Scrutiny Panel

The Customer Scrutiny Panel (CSP) is a group of customers who review and challenge how we are performing and delivering services. The CSP choose which service areas they want to examine and have access to whatever information they need to carry out detailed examinations and make a judgement of how that service is performing.

Your comments and suggestions can help shape the Panel’s reviews to improve services for customers.

We would love to hear your ideas and opinions about subjects the panel could review. Your comments can help improve services not only for yourself, but for other Stockport Homes customers.

    The Customer Scrutiny Panel are always willing to take suggestions from the wider customer base. Please complete the form below, if you have any suggestions for a future review topic.

  • Join the panel

    Membership of the Customer Scrutiny Panel (CSP) is open to all Stockport Homes' Tenants and Leaseholders. Up to 10 customers can sit on the Panel at a time.

    Anyone expressing an interest in applying for vacancies on the CSP will be sent a Customer Scrutiny Panel Information Pack [pdf] 476KB and then invited to an initial informal chat to go through what's involved. This includes the:

    • qualities necessary to be an effective 'scrutineer';
    • benefits of becoming involved in scrutiny; and
    • commitment involved in completing training and carrying out reviews.

    The Customer Scrutiny Panel are supported by Jayne Boote (Engage Associates) who provides independent advice and guidance to the Panel members. All new panel members will also receive training and support to help them with their role.
