Stockport Homes’ Customer Safety Team is dedicated to managing the statutory and legislative property compliance requirements of the organisation, ensuring that our tenants’ homes remain a safe place to live.
Over the last 3-4 years we have overhauled our approach to managing asbestos, water hygiene, gas safety, electrical safety and fire safety. Stockport Homes are now recognised as industry compliance leaders, achieving consistently high compliance indicators.
Stockport Homes wants to share its journey to excellence with other ambitious housing providers and use this opportunity to share experiences and best practice.
On Thursday 28th November from 9:30am – 4:00pm, we are hosting a seminar aimed at staff and managers responsible for health & safety and property compliance. The seminar will cover the big ‘5’ areas of compliance and will focus on the positive changes and new ways of working Stockport Homes has adopted to put customer safety at the core of what we do. We will discuss our approach to:

- Contractor Management
- Cross directorate working
The seminar will be hosted by Stockport Homes’ Customer Safety Manager, finalist in this years’ national 24 Housing and Women in Housing awards for Professional of the Year.
