A Chartered Accountant by profession, Carmel has a wealth of experience across the sectors that our Group operates in. Joining SHG in 2006, Carmel set the foundations for the Group’s growth, and understands the complexity and requirements of managing the Group operating in a diverse range of markets, from core services to commercial markets, and the regulatory environment. Carmel is responsible for the delivery of the Group’s Business Plan, and high performing services in: Corporate Finance, People & Organisational Development, Health & Safety, Marketing & Communications, Data, Digital, Technology & Business Transformation, Governance, Risk, Procurement and Regulation. Carmel also leads the Three Sixty repairs and commercial subsidiary. She drives our focus on delivering excellence, and being a recognised world class employer, providing agile, engaging, and stimulating working practices across the Group.
