We are delighted to announce that Stockport Homes Group has been shortlisted in the 'Best Digital Experience' award at the Housing Digital Innovation Awards 2023.
This nomination recognises the development of the new Stockport Homes website, www.stockporthomes.org which was driven by customers, where customer voice and feedback played a pivotal role in the success.
Extensive consultation with customers ensured the website was driven by customer voice, with over 1,400 customers consulted. By listening to customers’ needs we developed a website which was quicker and easier for customers to find the information they need. Customers were consulted on the design, with changes including using different property images, adding a prominent ASB link on the homepage and changing the employment support icon to make it clearer.
These changes which were led by customers, resulted in a 41% increase in the number of forms being completed following the launch of the new website.

The Housing Digital Innovation Awards celebrates the dedication, talent, and drive of those who strive to make UK housing a place of continued innovation and excellence and the winners will be announced at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham on 9th February 2023.
