Making improvements to our Repairs Service

We know the quality of our repairs service matters a lot to you.  We have been working with a customer group to further improve the service how we handle repairs – especially looking at ways to avoid rearranging repair appointments in order to respond to emergencies elsewhere.

Going forward, we will still respond to all emergencies within 24 hours but will only do those  that are a risk to health or property immediately

What does this mean to you?

  • If you have a genuine emergency, you will get exactly the same service as before
  • We will free up staff time to ensure we keep more prearranged appointments
  • More appointment slots will be available to get ordinary repairs done sooner
