During a time of social distancing and customers self-isolating, Stockport Homes Customer Safety team adapted their way of working to ensure the safety of their customers was still a top priority.
Gas Safety week has come at the perfect time for Stockport Homes as the Customer Safety Team continue to work closely with its’ residents to try ensure essential annual Gas Safety Checks are completed on time, ensuring the continued safety of its’ residents and properties. 100% compliant for over 5 years, the team are working hard to continue to deliver a top performing service.
Stockport Homes has pledged its support for Gas Safety Week (14 – 20 September 20) and will be raising awareness about the importance of gas safety.

Our Customer Safety team have done an excellent job continuing to complete Gas Safety checks, even during the peak of the Covid 19 pandemic, whilst ensuring they stick to Government guidelines. Over 4000 gas safety checks were completed between April and August. I know it wasn’t an easy task, but they have adapted their way of working to ensure all our customers stay safe.
