Stockport Homes is delighted to welcome new Chair of the Board, Robin Burman, along with new Board members,  Peter Fitzhenry and Sarah Keenan who were appointed during the Annual General Meeting on Monday 26 September. Robin said,

I am looking forward to working with Stockport Homes, and to be joining the board this year with Stockport Homes as Number 1 landlord in the Country, it’s a great honour and I am proud to be part of the team. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to support the great social investment programme and future plans to develop more affordable housing.

After nine years on the Board, the presiding Chair, David Wright stepped down, and spoke of his time with the organisation, and the pride experienced over the years with the many achievements made.

It has been a great privilege to work with Stockport Homes and share in its journey to become the leading landlord, proving great services and innovating to ensure that we continue to transform lives across the Borough.

Special thanks were given for David’s commitment and enthusiasm over the years. Saying farewell after nine years as a Board Member was Councillor Paul Porgess, again special thanks were given for the time and dedication to Stockport Homes over the years.

Helen McHale, Chief Executive at Stockport Homes said,

Special thanks to David for his dedication to Stockport Homes over the last nine years, and also to Paul.  I am looking forward to working with Robin and the new members during a period of many changes, opportunities and hurdles.
