Stockport Homes evict trouble tenant

Posted 21 November 2017

Stockport Homes have taken a strong stance against Anti-Social Behaviour at Millbrook Tower, evicting tenant Mark France.

Stockport Homes were granted an injunction in September 2015 against Mr France for causing neighbour nuisance and being verbally abusive to one of Stockport Homes’ contractors.  Mr France failed to keep to the terms of his injunction and was subsequently was found guilty of breaching his injunction in June 2016.

During December 2016 he was also found guilty of cannabis cultivation, and Stockport Homes gained possession at Stockport County Court in September 2017 of the property on mandatory grounds, evicting Mr France.

Robin Burman, Chair of Stockport Homes’ Board said,

Stockport Homes and its partners are committed to putting a stop to behaviour that affects the quality of life of residents and will take any action at its disposal to secure a peaceful environment.

To report any issues with Anti-Social Behaviour please call 0161 218 1498 or out of hours on 0161 474 3840. You can also report issues confidentially and anonymously online www.stockporthomes.org/community/anti-social-behaviour/
