Joint tenancy pilot

This is a new pilot scheme for 2 and 3 bedroom flats at Lancashire Hill and the tower blocks in Brinnington, which will run until December 2012. It is completely optional.

Tenants and applicants can apply to have a joint tenancy with a friend or relative, even if they don’t currently live together.  By doing this housing costs can be halved, including rent, service charges, water rates, council tax, etc.

The properties included in the pilot will be clearly marked in the Homechoice advert and priority for these properties will be given to applicants requiring two bedrooms.
