One of our team has been recognised in a national ‘Young Leaders’ shortlist by industry magazine 24housing.
Charity and Development Officer Molly Bishop has been shortlisted in the Top 20 for having a strong commitment to tackling social inequality, both through practical service development and a wider strategic enabling role. With the housing sector in a period of significant change, Molly is adept at assessing the potential impact of national and regional policy developments, looking at the opportunities they offer and risks they pose. She also demonstrates an exceptionally impressive range of leadership values and attributes.
Those shortlisted in this year’s Top 20 have already been part of significant achievements in their organisation, working with both external and internal contacts to create and drive efficiency. They also have bright new ideas that could change the way the sector operates in the future.
Robin Burman, Chair of Stockport Homes’ Board said
We focus on investing in the future of our employees and it is fantastic to see a young team member recognised for all of their great work in their role.
The Top 20 list has been selected by a panel of judges and the candidates also showed potential to be a strong leader, not only in their own organisation, but also in the wider sector.
A list of the Top 10 ‘Young Leaders’ will be selected by a public vote and voting will close on Friday 19 May. To cast your vote, visit https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/VMHJ67H
